Handmade Irish Gift for your little ones this Christmas.
Tis the season to be jolly...... but perhaps one of the more stressful jobs to do with small children is shopping. Mine for sure don't like it and need to be bribed with some nibbles, I make rush decisions and usually spend more than I wish to. I am all for supporting local shops and traders but this is where a bit of internet shopping comes in handy. Put the slippers on, boil the kettle, sit back and browse.
Another added bonus is the more unique beautiful products that you cant find in the chain stores and large grocery outlets. Working mams and dads making from the kitchen table much like myself.

www.funkycrayons.com A huge selection of shaped crayons but the ones that makes us squeal is the personalised names. These are loads of fun and very reasonable to boot. last date for Christmas orders will be the 10th of December.
www.nameyourgift.ie This marvelous website from Co.Cavan will have you browsing their huge selection of personalised gifts all evening.... but as its Christmas I just had to show you their festive personalised Christmas stockings. Oh and the best bit is they are running a discount between now and Christmas...hooray.
www.theirishfairydoorcompany.com If you haven't heard of the Irish Fairy Door company you must have been living under a rock for the past year but if you have then at least you might have met some fairys of your own. What a wonderful place a childs imagination is and I will fully endorse anything that helps it grow and flourish.
www.cantercanter.com I have been a long standing fan of Canter Canter having got one of these handmade hobby horses for my daughter's birthday three years ago. Our 'Mini' is well cuddled, well ridden and standing up well to all the 'love' that she gets.

The very clever people at My Kids Time have gathered together a huge bunch of crafters, illustrators, toymakers and knitters to name but a few and listed their products under one website, easy for you to browse and shop... They even have a pinata maker... I wonder who that could be! It was hard for me to pick one product they have listed to show you but this one did make my seven year old jump with glee so here it is... build your own Dublin.
